Screeching Weasel (album)

Screeching Weasel was the eponymous debut album by the American punk rock band Screeching Weasel. It was originally released with 27 tracks in 1987 through Underdog Records. According to Ben Weasel, Underdog's pressing of 1,000 copies sold out in 3 months, but the label was not interested in re-pressing the album. The album was pressed on vinyl again in 1988 on What Goes On Records. The album remained out of print for a decade, but was finally reissued on CD in 1997 by VML Records in order to combat bootlegging (tracks 28-39 were added for the reissue), the song "Murder in the Brady House" was covered by The Queers on their My Old Man's a Fatso EP and was later featured on their compilation album Later Days and Better Lays.
